Foundational Learning

An RCLS education provides children with a challenging academic environment. During the formative elementary school years, the focus is on ensuring that critical skills related to reading, writing, and mathematics are mastered. As children mature into middle school students, the academic focus shifts to applying those skills to enable students to be critical thinkers. Technology integration, foreign language instruction, and small class sizes are guaranteed, and a safe, affirming environment ensures students can focus on learning. Additionally, an emphasis on character and work ethic means students can be positively influenced by peers in an environment that fosters respect, perseverance, and learning.
