Mission & Core Values
Rochester Central Lutheran School is a private school that serves students from age 3 to 8th grade. In ministry with Family of Christ, Grace, Holy Cross, and Trinity Lutheran Churches in Rochester, Minnesota, our purpose is to provide an excellent Christian education for Rochester-area students. Teachers treat individual learners at RCLS, where a foundational education equips students to excel in later stages of learning. We believe education is best carried out when the whole child is educated, so we nurture students academically, artistically, physically, socially, and spiritually. Preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, and middle school: there is a place for your child in this remarkable learning community.
Grounded in Grace, Formed in Faith, and Committed to Learning for Life
Grounded in Grace
In an environment that fosters grace, students learn that they are valued, loved, and forgiven.
Children who are confident, respectful, and kind.
Formed in Faith
Faith in Jesus Christ is inherent to whom we are and informs what we do and how we do it.
Youth who see purpose and plan in the world and for their lives.
Committed to Learning for Life
RCLS seeks to foster a love of learning, to educate the whole child, and to encourage students to create, not just consume or recycle.
Well-rounded students with a strong work ethic, a sense for their strengths, and an ability to lead themselves and others inside and outside the classroom.
