Flag Football

Our new flag football program is open to boys and girls in grades 3-6. Schedule

Our primary goal is to give students another opportunity to develop their talents and give glory to Christ! The new football program is designed to teach the basic game of football while playing in a scrimmage-type setting.   Our sessions are only 1 hour long.

At the beginning of each session, coaches will divide the players into evenly matched teams of 5-7 players. We will have parent volunteers with football experience assisting in teaching and officiating.

This type of football has no pads, no blocking, and no tackling. The only contact is incidental to grabbing a flag or accidentally running into someone. We will be emphasizing Christian sportsmanship and teamwork. We are taking our rules from NFL Flag Rulers and slightly modifying them to suit our purpose and the age of our players.
