I feel very strongly that being a TEACHER is a BIG job!  Why do I do it?  Why do I put up with everything we do?  Read on and I'll tell you...

    "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

                                                                                    Matthew 28:18-20

    These words were said by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, shortly before He ascended to Heaven.  These words are known as the Great Commission.  As believers, it is our responsibility to respond to this call.  I have chosen to respond to this call by teaching young children about the saving GRACE of God.

    When Jesus died on the cross, He took on his shoulders all the sins all people in all times have ever and will ever commit.  We have been forgiven of all of our sins.  I believe that Jesus did this, and I take it as my personal mission to tell as many other people about what Jesus did.

    I teach so others may know Christ.
