I have lived in Rochester since 1999. My family consists of my wife, Brenda, and our daughter Hope and son Isaac. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Concordia University – Nebraska in 1993. In 1998, I completed my Master’s Degree at Saginaw Valley State University. I previously taught 4th, 5th, and 2nd grades in Frankenmuth, Michigan. I have taught 5th and 2nd grades here at RCLS. This is my 14th year of teaching. My second graders do a lot of learning games during the year. We also get very creative with many writing projects. Music is a large part of the year, as we sing many different songs for many different reasons each day. My favorite Bible verse is from I Thessalonians 5:16-18: “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Our class schedule Our class page Email
