Early Childhood Development Center

RCLS Early Childhood Development Center

Serving Ages 3 – 5 years

A unique program unlike any other offered in Rochester.

Two distinct options:

Preschool (age 3 by September 1st) and PreKindergarten (age 4 by September 1st)

Our program gives parents the ability to create their child’s education experience based on child and family needs. Classes are offered five mornings. Lunch, afternoon, and extended day sessions are also available. Parents choose the sessions upon enrollment. Children may attend as few as two morning sessions (preschool only), and as many as 10 sessions.

A Lunch session is offered (11 AM – 12 PM). Children may purchase a RCLS hot lunch or bring one from home. A snack package may be purchased at the beginning of the school year.

Our facilities include an updated large-motor activity room to develop coordination and motor skills. Music, Library, Keyboarding, and Spanish classes occur weekly.

Christ-Centered

Christ is the center of our Early Childhood programs. Children learn best by seeing and experiencing. Therefore we teach our faith through modeling it in daily life. Bible stories, song, and prayer are daily activities in the ECDC classroom. Your child will learn to:

- Identify Jesus as their Savior

- Recognize creation as a gift from God

- Understand that they are precious in God’s sight

“…and surely I am with you always to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

Topics are integrated so that lessons incorporate learning through different subject areas. There are a number of different themes that make up our ECDC curriculum, including:

  • Religion
  • Language
  • Handwriting
  • Mathematics
  • Social Studies
  • Physical Education
  • Art
  • Music
  • Science
  • Spanish

Enrolling your child in the RCLS Early Childhood Development Center will allow them to develop skills needed to successfully enter kindergarten, eager and ready to learn.

We offer a safe, stimulating, and joyful environment. When children experience the grace and love of Jesus, their self esteem grows too.
