We at RCLS believe the desire and ability to serve is a gift from God. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve.” Romans 12:6-7. If your gift is service, RCLS has many volunteer opportunities available for you! Volunteers are very important at RCLS, and we truly appreciate each and every volunteer who helps make RCLS a successful and affordable educational ministry through their volunteer efforts. Listed below are some of the many opportunities for volunteers. If you feel you have a talent to share with RCLS that is not listed, please share your ideas and gifts with us!
For over one hundred and twenty five years, RCLS has worked hard at our mission of serving the families in our communities with a faith-based education. To assist with the continued success of the RCLS education and ministry, the school has formed the Development Committee. The mission of the RCLS Development Committee is the following: “Develop and implement relationships to promote fiscal stability and continued growth for fostering the ministry of RCLS.” The RCLS Development Committee believes that all of our initiatives are centered around building stronger relationships with our families and community members. Strong relationships will help RCLS build strong supporters, both spiritually and financially, and spread the word about RCLS and the opportunities it offers.
RCLS hosts its annual Blue and White Night at the end of April. This adult-only event is held at the Rochester Golf and Country Club and includes an evening of fellowship, food, friends and fundraising. Silent and live auctions include sporting event tickets, vacations and timeshares, local business certificates and much more. Don't miss this annual celebration of RCLS and the many blessings it offers our children.
